In a recent diving expedition, over 5,000 never seen before creatures were discovered.  This is an incredible discovery and gives the scientific world insight that, truly, the deep ocean is the last frontier to be explored on Planet Earth.  The creatures are on the seabed of the Pacific Ocean, which is 4,000 to 6,000 meters below sea level.  One of the deep sea animals was nicknamed the “gummy squirrel” because of its massive tail and jelly-like appearance.  There were vast discoveries of anthropods, worms, and spiny invertebrates, such as sea urchins and sponges.
